Trust me, brand is one of the least important things when looking for a large hd screen. The features, size, tuners, decoders, format, and all of those other lovely confusing things very within a brand. brbrIm a little confused as to why the above people would be suggesting LCDs since they are poorer quality, smaller, and have horrible viewing angles. Plasma TVs last just as long as others, and the scare over screen burning is very overblown, a study was just done that shows no plasma TVs have ever had permanent damage done to them from image burn, not to mention you dont notice most of the temporary burn anywaysbrbrSo in general, all brands have good and bad TVs, it depends on what you are looking for. Also using an online electronics reviewer on a per model basis will be of help to you as well.
