ISO sensitivity on new cameras?
Given the advanced technology on new cameras lately regarding ISO sensitivity, does it still makes sense to buy lenses with wide aperture opening at about . or . or even . which cost a lot when all you do it increase your iso setting when taking pictures in dark environment? Or am I missing something here?

Yep! Youre missing something. As well as allowing shots in low light a wide aperture lens allows very shallow depth of field to isolate the subject from the background.
