Question

Is Playstation Network down today? June th ?
I try to log on, on my ps and it says quotAn error has occurred. You have been signed out of PlayStation Network.quot So I went to the playstation website and tried logging on on there and it came up...

Answer

Nothing you can do about it, PlaystationNetwork is just down because of some new titles being added to the Playstation Store. Check the Playstation Blog www.us.playstation.comblog for more details about the updates throughout June. The Network should be up in an hour or so.brbrbrbrUpdate Playstation servers to be up by pmpmbrbrAbdullahbrbrbrYes since servers have been shut down you will be getting a lot of those notices, but just ignore them. Although a password change may be in order after servers are online.brbrbrbrGuys you have to realize that Sony has over million users online at a time. So yes a server fix will be needed a few times a year.brbrbrbrbrjoelbrWell Sony cant choose what times they want to update software, as it is decided over months in advance.brbrbrbrI have been informed that some password updates have been coming up on the screen.... DO NOT click ok, as it will freeze up your Playstation and some data on it may get corrupted. Click cancelbr until further information.brbrbrbrbrMax PantiliebrAbout hours, max.brbrbrbrOk, well Sony cannot do updates on Playstation Store while PSN still online. Therefore PSN mustbr be offline before updating. It is not the game servers that are down, it is the entire network in general.brbrbrbrBobbrYes. In behalf of Sony Entertainment Network, I answer any questions and concerns regarding customer support. I do not work on updating servers etc.brbrbrbrMarkobrSometimes issues involved in network servers just cannot wait. For example, if the server did not get fixed and or updated today, then it might just quotgo downquot completely some other day. Would you rather wait a couple hours today, or a couple months tomorrow? brbrI hope I answered your question.
